Accurate Insurance, Inc. was founded in 1927 under the ownership of Paul H Cheyney, Sr. Originally known as Cheyney Insurance, we have been operating for more than 80 years on the principles of honesty and integrity.

In 2006, the business was purchased and renamed by longtime employees Richard Delashmutt, Eric Stille, and Mona Anderson, who continued the company's legacy of excellence in the insurance industry. In 2019, Mona purchased Richard's stake in the agency after his passing.

Based in the community of Glenwood, Iowa, we take a personal approach with our clients. Insurance solutions are unique to each individual and we believe the service provided should reflect that.     Mona Anderson

    President

    President Mona Anderson began working at Accurate Insurance, Inc. in 1994. After 30 years in the insurance industry she purchased a stake in the company in 2006 alongside Richard and Eric. The same year she received her Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist designation and began primarily handling commercial insurance policies purchased at the agency. She and her husband, Ace, live in nearby Plattsmouth. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and attending Country music concerts.

    Eric Stille

    Vice President

    Vice-President Eric Stille began working at Accurate Insurance in 2003 after switching careers from auto sales. He enjoys the day to day bustle of activity in the office. In 2006, he purchased a stake in the agency alongside Richard and Mona. Eric assists clients with both personal and commercial insurance policies. He lives in Glenwood and spends his free time with friends and family.
  • Kelly Crouch
    Kelly Crouch
    Kelly has worked in the insurance industry for more than 25 years. She joined Accurate Insurance in 2011 and is well equipped to handle clients' insurance needs. She and her husband, Robert, live outside of Glenwood on their family farm. Kelly can often be found spending time with any of her 3 daughters and 4 grandsons. In their spare time, she and Robert enjoy camping or cooking alongside their many friends.

    Roger McKnelly
    Roger grew up in the Omaha area and, while he hasn’t been part of the insurance industry for long, only joining Accurate Insurance in 2019, he has always had a knack for numbers and problem solving. In his free time Roger enjoys playing board games as well as scary movies and podcasts such as ‘Lore’.
